On a personal note, Deborah is a gourmet cook, avid gardener, and a tolerable tennis player. A Sweet Briar & University of Virginia graduate and former French teacher at Heathwood Episcopal School, she is an active member of the Daughters of the Holy Cross at Trinity Episcopal Church. Married to attorney Michael from Charleston, SC, she with her husband enjoys the wide range of outdoor activities that South Carolina offers from the mountains to the beautiful beaches.
