I love Austin! As the daughter of a military family I had the privilege of living all over the US and abroad. After marriage again I got to experience several more states but in 1999 my family finally settled in Austin and I must admit it has been my favorite place to live, by far. Although I loved the experiences and adventures that came with each move, nowhere did I ever feel as welcomed and connected as I do here. Austin has a resilient economy, wonderful weather with abundant outdoor activities, and is the cultural jewel of Texas. Before relocating here, I received my bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona and have spent time as a teacher, loan officer, a home improvement specialist, wife and mom. After college I married my high school sweetheart and we have three wonderful children; two in college (UT Austin & Texas Tech) and a freshman in high school.
